Inspiration
We wanted to help community, and keep it as a safe space while doing so.
What it does
It allows you to drop messages off around the world, if another person then gets in range of your message, they will be able to read it. Though there is a timer on a message, before it despires. Another key thing, is that you are unable to post message, that the ibm watson api finds an angry or digust tone in. To help make it a relatively safe place to be.
How we built it
We created an android app, using google map to show a map, where you can drop message. When you drop a message, that string of text is send to our server, where we first validate the content of the string, with the ibm watson api. If it pass it, we save it in our database, and it will be placed on the users phone, everytime the users gps update. Meaning if new message have been made, or the user are now in range of a message, they will get them from the server with a littel arrow pointing at that location of the map.

Making an android app. Overall new things for us.

We got the app working on a few android phones(not all). Which made us able to actually have a finished product.
