Hi, when we were trying to submit all our info but the website reset and all our progress got deleted right before I could upload it and this was about 5 minutes before summation was due! but there will be a detailed summary here!

Inspiration: It is a mystery game, we loved games so we thought to make a game! We wanted to make a game that you had to use a lot of brain power and so we are really leaned into the self detective work and we all loved the idea of making your own Future! What it does: It is a game made with python where you get elongated pieces of information, then chose what questions you ask, depending on the question you asked, you gain different pieces of information who committed the crime! How we built it: We used python, to make the code, even though its not the best for games, I really wanted to learn python so that's why! Fiyinfoluwa used Bosca Ceoil for music. Kamsi used pixelstudio for art. Challenges we ran into: We ran into a lot of errors, and so many of us were brand new to python or the respective program we used so it was hard and we had to do a lot of trouble shooting, the story needed to be a cohesive story that i was proud of, and because of the multiple possibilities, it was difficult to keep up and we ran out of time. Accomplishments that we're proud of: We have so many possibilities, I am truly proud of everything me and my friends could do in 2 days, we have music, art, a cohesive story, solid code, we worked together and communicated very well. I love everything we accomplished together. Family Secrets is amazing to me. We all added little parts of our personalities to the game, little Easter eggs that probably no one will ever find, but I'm glad we did it. What we learned We learned python, every single one of us needed to do research, check websites, run error codes on the internet, watch videos, to help us with that we were on the call for hours at a time trying our best, the highest recorded time was i think 4 hours 57 minutes and a few seconds, we really put our all in this. What's next for Family Secrets: We are going to continue it, due to time restrictions, we were not able to finish the game, but we are planning to continue working on it, then hopefully we upload it and move on to the next project!
