Inspiration
We were inspired by how often studying feels like a chore and wanted to find a way to engage people who like video games.
What it does
Its a website where users can answer questions, do typing test and many other ways of practicing subjects. When they complete questions they will be rewarded with xp where they can compare with other users on a leaderboard.
How we built it
We build this game using sveltekit as the front and backend of the project and we use mariadb as our database to hold player data.
Challenges we ran into
There were several challenges we ran into but our biggest issue was trying to dockerize our project due to having issues running the svelte server with docker.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We our very proud of the game idea and we believe that this game has the potential to succeed if given more time.
What we learned
What we learned was that when making programs under a time constraint it is very difficult when you are not familiar with the type of project.
What's next for Green Bean study game
What's next is to make our game playable online .
