Inspiration
The Inspiration of the project is the theme of the Hackathon, As in present situation of Covid -19 everyone is going through tough time, So we come up with this idea of creating a cook book that will have recipes of different cuisine from all over the world so that when in most of the countries Hotel and Restaurant are closed, One can easily have what he or she wants to have in their meal.
What it does
It is a web application that comprises of recipe of different cuisine from various countries that let you cook whatever you wish to eat. People can browse by category according to different Countries. Now, u can cook Indian food while you are locked down somewhere in Canada or u Can have Italian cuisine in your dinner while sitting in Las Vegas.
How I built it
We built it Using Java Server Pages(JSP), HTML, CSS and Bootstrap. Using Tomcat Server and Netbeans IDE.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
By Completing the project in the given time , Me and My team got a good feeling that we made something useful that was worth investing our time. The Idea of the Web app and turining the Idea into reality is something that We are proud of.
What I learned
We learnt collaborating on project using Git and Working with Java Enterprise Edition.
What's next for CookBook
We will add a feature for comment where user can comment their feedback. Later we have also planned to allow users to write their own recipe in the future.
