CoogScene

Your campus. Your circle.

CoogScene is a campus social app for friend groups. Students add their classes and plans to a schedule, check in when they attend, and see everyone in their circle on a shared, color-coded month calendar, so it’s easy to tell who’s free and when to meet up. With Fit Check, students post outfit photos with captions, share them campus-wide or with close friends only, and rate each other’s fits from 1 to 10. To keep the community safe, users can report posts, and admins review and remove them from a dashboard. As UH students, we were constantly texting each other “Are you in class?”, “Where are you?”, and “Are you free later?” Group chats get buried, and nobody knows anyone else’s schedule. We wanted one place where your friends could see your day at a glance. We also noticed how much students care about style on campus, so we added a fun, social way to share outfits.
