Inspiration

Turing Machines are always an interesting concept, something that never was given enough love in the fact that it hardly ever was used beyond the idea of how good an AI is, or how old machines are.

What it does

Using the original rules of Conway's game, with a few additional parameters which add a bit of pure chaos to the mix.

How we built it

Using Java with the Eclipse API

Challenges we ran into

Trying to figure out what kind of array we wanted to, since integers and booleans were always really good option, so we decided to incorporate both!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The spontaneous generation algorithm!

V1 is now complete!!!!

After nearly 14 hours of work, the first official version of CGOL:Deluxe is now complete! Randomness, chaos, and a bit of just funny references.

It's a way for you to want to see a Turing Machine, imo.
