Inspiration: Three of our team members are currently on or have been on club teams here at OSU, and we all found that scheduling can be a little bit of a hassle when trying to coordinate
What it does: Our project acts as an online planner for teams, where team managers can schedule events that can be seen by people who join their teams.
How we built it: We are using an AWS server to host the website and backend database, and Nodejs to connect the frontend and backend.
Challenges we ran into: We struggled with getting the login to remain secure and only allow users to access certain parts of the website when they are not logged in.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are proud of the login system, as it stores encrypted passwords for users.
What we learned: We learned a lot about working dynamic content into static pages, as well as saving content securely in the backend MySQL database.
What's next for Convexity: We would like to clean up what we have, as were very rushed at the end trying to get the content to work.
