Conversion from single cycle to combined power generation

Inspiration

The idea of the hackathon itself is revolutionary. The Hedera Guardian incentivizes the corporates which are reducing carbon emission. This is a win-win situation.

What it does

The ACM0007 methodology titled "Conversion from single cycle to combined cycle power generation" from UNFCCC is implemented. Basically the corporates doing the conversion are incentivized using the Carbon Emission Reduction Token.

How we built it

This is the implementation of ACM0007 methodology. This is built using the guardian service based on the Hedera network (Digital Ledger Technology). Policy is made using the policy configuration and schemas are made on excel.

Challenges we ran into

-Initially the JavaScript expressions had abnormal behavior and ran into infinite loops. -Also, there was quite less documentation for JavaScript coding.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

-This project would be helpful to United Nations to sponsor and incentivize the nations which convert to combined cycle power generation. -The whole process is decentralized enabling higher security. The nations just have to report their progress by filling the forms. -I got a better perspective around the Earth.

What we learned

-I have learned to use Hedera Blockchain and the guardian service to create wonderful apps. -I got better in the database management skills(especially excel). -We should prevent our Earth by reducing carbon emissions and doing everything possible to save the Earth.

What's next for Conversion from single cycle to combined power generation

-Better fields can be added in the reporting section. -More tokens can be added depending on the need.
