Conversational AI using Elevenlabs API on website

Inspiration

What it does

Let's say you are putting ads for selling supplements, and what do you do after they fill up forms? Calling them one by one would mean it's not scalable (or expensive to do so), and emailing them have a low open rate. We can combine both with AI though, automatically write fine-tuned courses using AI, suggest the right supplements, and processing and fulfillment and deliver ... tons of stuff that can be automated right away, super personalized, without spending too much time coding.

How we built it

I used Bolt to code most of the stuff, some help with smaller functions with Claude, Supabase for database support, Elevenlabs conversational agent API, IONOS AI supported domain registration, Netlify for fast deployment, Github for repository, and n8n for some automation. Twilio for telephony.

I started building on Thursday evening and finished by Saturday evening so I guess that's around two days, but I still get stuck because I tried to connect everything with Bolt but sometimes it just not doing what it's supposed to do, so I have to find some creative troubleshooting over the Internet.

Challenges we ran into

I don't have a lot of experience building with bolt. I'm not a coder as well. I understand how things work, but building an end-to-end solution was quite challenging for me without anyone's help. Also, on the last day, I submitted to Youtube only to get my video removed because it contains some of my personal info (phone, address), which is quite important for the app demo -- anyway I'm trying to redact those and will see what happen.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I think there's a niche that could potentially use conversational AI sooner than later, and that's YMYL (your money or your life). It seems that supplements can mean both at once, but more on 'your life' part.

What we learned

The fact that AI can help us create anything almost instantly intrigue me. And because I am not a provisional coder, I don't really understand how to code, but I do understand the basic and I know how to operate AI, so I think why don't try? At least I get some freebies in return.

What's next for Conversational AI using Elevenlabs API on website

I think I'm going to build a product that can do this by integrating Twilio and Elevenlabs API, and automate everything to make it easy for anyone that's trying to build a conversation agent for their website. Might be a good use case, and would be amazing if this can be automated.
