Inspiration

Our growing concerns about the environmental impact of consumer electronics and household energy consumption motivated us.

What it does

Our website provides consumers with the data they need to make economically and environmentally responsible choices which will create an impact by pushing businesses to develop better appliances.

How I built it

We sat in a room for twelve hours.

What I learned

[Alden] - I learned how to create dynamic page elements with javascript [Daniel] - I learned to serve an express webapp in nodejs and connect to (and query) mongodb [Jackson] - I learned there is a lot of functionality with node.js and a lot on version control with git. [Tom]- I learned what it takes to create web apps with a team
