What inspired me to make this first came from another thing. Which was me trying to configure led lights in which a way to make it as a timer and another project with controlling a servo with a joystick. Then I realized I had old parts from a drone I broke and then I decided to make a combination of everything which led to this.

This project is just like a traditional fan but allows for more optimization for the user by changing the speed the fan goes at and indicts this by the Leds lighting up and make be rotated by a joystick.

I built this using a 2n 2222 transistor, mirco servo, joystick, 4 leds (resistors are optional, I didn't include them), dc motor, fan and gear, 10k potentiometer, and an old nail polish holder.

Challenges I came across were realizing that in order to adjust a dc motor level of speed accordingly, I had to use a transistor, which I wasn't familiar with. Another challenge was the led code which I had to make the if and if else statements in reverse. Such as when the potentiometer would be greater than 40 all of the Leds would be "on" and then three would be on if it was greater than 256 and so on.

I am pretty proud that this my first project that I worked on by myself.

I learned more about the coding aspect of things such as if else statements which I was unfamiliar before I started the project. I learned how potentiometers work and got to learn about the role a transistor plays.

I wish to include a lcd screen next and perhaps also include a temperature sensor, so it'll be as such when it goes to a certain temperature, the fan will turn on and off.
