As first time hackers (not to mention busy Cornellians), we wanted to do something simple for the experience. The original idea was to write code that could convert image files into "colorable" black-and-white pictures (like in coloring books). While one team member wrote java code for that, another experimented with creating an android app. We eventually decided to combine the two after the app's tutorial enabled us to install a camera feature, which led to creating a new filter which basically made the photo "colorable".

Our target user would probably be the general public. Since it's our first hackathon, we're just glad we got something to work after following the tutorials and building an app for the first time. The screenshot shows output images from testing various images (not photos) with the java code.
