Inspiration

Every knowledge worker I know is drowning in the same silent tax: important work doesn’t die dramatically… it just quietly fades. Threads go cold, decisions evaporate, context gets lost between tools. Continuum was built to stop that. It’s a background agent that scans for dying work and proposes human-approved keep-alive actions so important threads never go cold.

What it does

Continuum is an autonomous agent that keeps your important work alive without you having to babysit it.

It watches the tools you already live in (Gmail, Calendar, Slack, Notion, Jira, etc.), detects when a thread, decision, or multi-step workflow is at risk of dying, and then proactively:

Reconstructs the full context Surfaces the next logical action Drafts the update / proposal / ticket Keeps the loop warm until a human actually needs to step in

Zero new dashboard. Zero new habit. It just refuses to let the important shit die.

How we built it

Taskmaster-style architecture from day one.

Background agent + clean event triggers + persistent memory bank + tool-calling layer that can actually finish multi-step workflows without hand-holding.

Built to survive the real world: messy inboxes, incomplete data, rate limits, and humans who ignore it for 3 days then come back demanding answers.
