About the Project Continuum is a creator companion app I designed during a one-day UX designathon. It helps content creators pause before posting and think about how a new draft connects to their past content, current audience, and overall creative direction. Instead of helping creators post faster, the app supports more thoughtful and intentional posting.

Problem Content creators are often pushed to keep posting, but most platforms do not help them reflect before they share something new. Because of this, posts can feel repetitive, reactive, or disconnected from the creator’s bigger story. Past content usually stays buried in the background instead of helping guide what comes next.

How Might We How might we help creators reflect on new content before posting by reconnecting it to their past posts, evolving themes, and audience response?

Solution Continuum creates a pause before publishing. By connecting to platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X, it compares a new draft to past posts and highlights patterns in tone, topic, and audience response. This helps creators understand whether a post feels aligned, fresh, and meaningful before they decide to share it.

Lessons Learned Design-a-thons really put your skills to the test in a short amount of time. With really 10 hours of actual work time, this project taught me how important it is to make decisions quickly, stay focused on the main idea, and design only the most important parts of the experience. I also learned that a strong concept matters just as much as strong visuals. Overall, while this was definitely a challenging theme, I had lots of fun and found it to be very rewarding to say the least.
