Inspiration
I started Continuity Studio because I’m a content creator myself, and I kept running into the exact same roadblock as everyone else making AI videos for YouTube: maintaining consistent characters, lighting, and scene continuity. We all make prompt mistakes, which inevitably leads to generating multiple versions of the same video and wasting precious credits. I experienced this frustration firsthand, so I decided to build a solution. This is a tool built for myself and like-minded creators to lock in that consistency, stop the endless trial-and-error, and finally stop burning through tokens.
What it does
The core of Continuity Studio is completely simplifying AI video production by solving its biggest challenge: consistency. It acts as your automated pre-production assistant. You just provide the basic gist of your idea, and the tool expands it into a fully fleshed-out narrative that you can edit and refine.
Once your story is locked in, you control the pacing. Specify your total video length and how many seconds each shot should last. Continuity Studio automatically engineers the precise video prompts for every single scene to maintain flawless character and environmental continuity. It even crafts tailored background music prompts to match the mood of your story. After a quick Consistency Review to ensure everything aligns perfectly, simply copy the optimized prompts and drop them straight into your favorite AI video and audio generators.
How we built it
This solution is built using a React JS frontend and a Golang backend, with Google ADK integrated to build the agents. My main focus is simplicity. The reason I chose these technologies is for their ease of use, low latency, and great concurrency. The application was first brainstormed in Google Stitch, then improvised with Claude AI, and finally built locally using Antigravity. Visually, the design is highly inspired by our cosmic space and the Milky Way galaxy, as space itself symbolizes continuity
Challenges we ran into
scoping was tough; cognitive debt is such an easy problem to overthink, and we had to constantly fight the temptation to build an all-in-one platform just to keep the focus tight on a simple, working PoC that actually delivers end-to-end. I am trying out golang instead of python in a hackathon for first time, it was a good learning experience. Also i am not UI/UX Designer, i tried to mimic the cosmic space as my inspiration and tried to come with design which is minimalist and at the same looks cool.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud that I have created an application which is already reaping benefits for me on my personal YT channel. I am even more proud that this application can be expanded into a full-scale product.
What we learned
The execution of this project has given me an idea about how to bridge the gap that AI is creating in terms of cognitive debt. Creating this project presented me with good exposure to the usage of skills and persistent memory. Also, as I mentioned previously, I tried my hand at Golang as well.
What's next for Continuity Studio
The next step is to expand this into a product which can be integrated with Video and Audio Generation models, and convert this into a full-blown solution for content creation
