💡 Inspiration
People use AI every day for school, work, health, finance, and personal tasks. But many prompts contain more personal information than AI actually needs.
We built ContextShield AI to help users recognize and reduce that exposure before sharing a prompt.
🎯 The Problem
A normal AI prompt can include names, phone numbers, locations, medical details, financial information, or private personal context.
Most AI tools focus on getting more context from users, not helping them decide what should stay private.
🚀 Our Solution
ContextShield AI is a privacy firewall for AI chatbots.
It scans prompts for sensitive information, categorizes the exposure, provides a privacy score, and helps users create safer versions of their prompts.
How it works
Write → Scan → Detect → Score → Protect → Send
🔐 Privacy First
ContextShield uses a local-first approach. In demo mode, prompts are analyzed directly in the browser using regex and heuristic rules.
Raw prompts are not stored. Only anonymized statistics are kept locally for the dashboard.
📊 Demo Features

💡 What Makes It Different
Instead of asking:
“How can I give AI more context?”
ContextShield asks:
“How much context does AI actually need?”
Our goal is to make privacy protection a normal part of using AI.
🌍 Vision
Give AI exactly what it needs — and nothing more.
