ContentPilot

Inspiration

Managing content across multiple social media platforms is still fragmented. Creators often switch between different dashboards, upload the same content multiple times, and manually adjust captions and schedules for every platform.

I wanted to build a single publishing workspace where creators can connect their own developer apps, manage multiple accounts, and publish content across different platforms from one interface while keeping each platform independent.

What it does

ContentPilot is an AI-powered multi-platform publishing platform.

Currently it supports:

  • Facebook Publishing
  • Instagram Publishing
  • YouTube Uploads
  • Multi-Platform Campaigns

Users connect their own developer applications, authorize their accounts, and publish content securely without sharing credentials with anyone.

The platform creates isolated publishing jobs for every destination, allowing each platform to keep its own schedule, captions, retries, and publishing status.

How I built it

The project consists of:

  • Web Dashboard
  • Desktop Companion
  • Secure OAuth authentication
  • Official Meta APIs
  • YouTube Data API
  • Background publishing workers
  • Multi-platform campaign engine
  • Queue management
  • Publishing analytics
  • AI-ready architecture

The system was designed so new platforms can be added without changing the existing publishing workflow.

Challenges

The biggest challenge was designing one publishing workflow while every social platform behaves differently.

Each platform has:

  • Different OAuth flows
  • Different media requirements
  • Different API limitations
  • Different publishing rules

Another challenge was creating a secure architecture where users connect their own developer apps instead of sharing permanent credentials.

Accomplishments

The platform now provides:

  • Multi-platform publishing
  • Independent publishing queues
  • Platform-specific captions
  • Secure OAuth connections
  • AI-ready publishing workflow
  • Expandable architecture for future platforms

What's next

Future development includes:

  • LinkedIn
  • X (Twitter)
  • Pinterest
  • Threads
  • AI content generation
  • AI caption rewriting
  • AI image optimization
  • Smart scheduling
  • AI performance recommendations
  • Browser automation fallback where official APIs are unavailable

The long-term vision is to build one unified publishing platform where creators can manage their complete content workflow from a single dashboard.
