Inspiration

As a marketer, I’ve always struggled with repurposing content. Webinars, blogs, and interviews are full of insights but often get used once and forgotten. I wanted to build something lean and useful that helps small teams and solo marketers get more mileage from the content they’ve already worked hard to create.

What it does

Content Remix takes in a blog link or a webinar recording and instantly turns it into multiple content assets: LinkedIn post drafts Email copy Sharable quotes Repurposable video snippets (via intelligent transcription)

It’s designed to help marketers and content teams turn one piece of content into many — without the manual lift.

How we built it

Built using Bolt.new for rapid frontend/backend development Used OpenAI API to analyze and generate marketing content Integrated a basic transcription model to analyze spoken content and extract snippet-worthy moments Created a clean UI for uploading content or pasting blog links, then returning ready-to-use content blocks

Challenges we ran into

Balancing UX simplicity with enough flexibility for different content types Getting the transcriber to identify high-value moments in long-form video/audio Managing prompt performance and keeping outputs consistent across content types Limited time to polish UI and add more advanced repurposing formats

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully extracted and repurposed both video and text-based content Got solid early feedback from marketers who said, “I’ve always wanted something like this” Built a tool that actually solves a real and recurring pain point

What we learned

Marketers want fewer tools, but better workflows AI works best when it's scoped clearly and paired with user intent Building with constraints (time, tools, UI) forces clarity and focus You don’t need to solve everything — even a small workflow improvement can create real value

What's next for Content-Remix

Add more content output types: carousels, checklists, tweet threads, podcast promos Build smarter snippet detection using NLP and audience engagement cues Add content style presets (thought leader, casual, SaaS-y, etc.) Launch a public beta and gather user feedback Explore integrations with YouTube, Notion, and CMS platforms for easier input
