What it does

Content LighTap offers a Micro-Payment Gateway that enables content creators to monetize their digital content through micro-payments and subscriptions. It leverages the Lightning Network for instant, low-fee transactions. Additionally, the platform’s Smart Contract Functionality, powered by Taproot, allows for the execution of complex, secure, and private subscription contracts.

How we built it

We built Content LighTap using a robust stack of technologies. The front-end interfaces with users through a sleek, intuitive design, while the back-end is powered by a combination of blockchain technologies. The Lightning Network facilitates rapid transactions, and Taproot enhances smart contract capabilities, all integrated into a user-friendly application.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was integrating the Lightning Network with our platform, ensuring transaction speed and reliability. Developing smart contracts with Taproot that were both secure and efficient also posed a significant challenge, as did ensuring user privacy and data security.
