Creating engaging social media content consistently is time-consuming and expensive for small businesses and solopreneurs. We wanted to democratize access to professional-quality content creation by building an AI-powered tool that generates a full week of posts in minutes.

What it does

Content Factory generates 7 days of ready-to-post social media content tailored to any brand or niche. Users simply describe their brand, and our AI agent:

Researches trending topics and creates engaging post copy
Generates relevant hashtags for maximum reach
Creates custom AI images using Freepik's API
Suggests optimal posting times for each day
Delivers everything in a beautiful web interface

How we built it

We built Content Factory using:

FastAPI backend with async support for efficient processing
LangGraph for orchestrating the AI agent workflow
Claude 3.5 Sonnet as the reasoning engine
Freepik API for AI image generation
Custom tools for content generation, trend research, and data management
Vanilla JavaScript frontend for a clean, responsive UI

Challenges we ran into

Orchestrating multiple API calls reliably while maintaining context
Ensuring the AI agent consistently structured data correctly for downstream processing
Handling rate limits and errors gracefully across different external APIs
Balancing generation speed with content quality
