Inspiration

I was inspired to create this project as an internal tool for another project of mine. I realized that there are likely many other small businesses/ entrepreneurs that need a similar tool to help them compete with bigger companies.

What it does

Content Creation Thingy differentiates itself from other content writers by automating more of the content creation process so small teams can compete with marketing departments.

Users are able to input their business information, enter keywords for the niche they want to target, and generate blog outlines.

Ideally, users would be able to generate blogs using these outlines, but two days is shorter than I thought :).

How we built it

This website was built with Next.js, Tailwind, Postgres, and Open AI.

Challenges we ran into

AWS, as always, took a significant time to set up and run. I also faced issues with the vercel-ai-sdk.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to get a semi-full stack application built in one weekend, and It's impressive to see how much it is to put together and app now compared to when I started my web development career.

What we learned

I tried to focus on designing my app (UML diagrams, user flow) before designing the app and this helped a lot.

What's next for Content Creation Thingy

I would love to continue building out the features of this app and finish developing the rest of the features in the app.
