Contactless Medicine Dispenser

Inspiration

Since Covid19 cases are increasing day by day .It is our responsibility and duty to protect our Covid warriors who are fighting in the hospitals. So we thought of making contact less medicine dispenser .

What it does

Our idea is contact less medicine dispenser . • The medicine dispenser will be placed near the bed of the patient and the medicines required for COVID patients will be loaded into the dispenser. • The dispenser has an alarm which will start beeping at the time scheduled by nurse for patient to take the medicine. • The nurse can set the alarm using the app (contact less) and at the right time patient will get reminder for taking the medicines . • This will not only reduce human involvement but will also help patients to recover very soon by taking proper medication

How I built it

the project was divided into parts. some of us worked on sensor interfacing and app development. some worked on the prototype body (made of plywood).

Challenges I ran into

building the user-friendly interface for the end-users.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Able to build a prototype that could help the COVID warriors.

What I learned

Adjusting ourselves according to the situation. Team and time management.

What's next for Contactless Medicine Dispenser

We are trying to integrate the machine with ESP8266 module so that anyone from anywhere can use the app to set up the reminders to take medicines for covid patients treated in hospitals.
