Contact List Filtering of Incoming Telephone Calls

The Caller ID telephone number of an incoming call would be compared with a user maintained contact list and with a set of Accept/Reject rules. A user's telephone would only ring if the call is accepted. Otherwise, the call goes directly to voice mail. If we filter incoming calls so the telephone rings only for calls we want, the nuisance of Robocalls is easily avoided.
