Inspiration

Inspiration of this project follows from my often need to validate some innovative ideas about business venturing. Not being a business professional my self, its often a challenge for me to understand and utilise business strategies, as well as drafting business plans. On the latter i have also realised that firms even exist that assit clients with drafting business plans especially with regards to applying for funding because drafting a business plan can be time consuming and requires concise writing. However not everyone is a skilled writer, and even skilled writer need to speed things up sometimes. As opposed to going through templates many of them provided online, an Auto-generator powered by generative AI is obviously a good tool for that. In addition the project also comes with a chatbot to provide similar services. It acts as a business consultant to assist users with business related topics, ideas, case studies and more for one to expand there knowledge in those areas.

What it does

The application helps users with quickly drafting business plans with ease and giving them a chance to ask questions about there business plans or other business related topics, through the chatbot.

How we built it

The application has be built with next js both front and backend. The application uses google gemini-pro-latest model on both the chatbot and the business plan generator.

Challenges we ran into

The main challange ran into was coming up with an effective prompt, making the application as reliable as possible. This mostly applied to the business plan generator as it is crucial for the application to generate quality plans so the user does not end up doing a lot of editing.
