Inspiration

Construction workers struggle with mental health.

What it does

ConstructYourMind helps ease the struggles by making them laugh and smile with cute pictures.

How we built it

Using Java. Eventually would make it into a webapp to be used on a mobile phone on a construction site.

Challenges we ran into

I am only a freshman and am a solo dev, so I only know a bit of Java so must print to console.

Made my first CS project that wasn't from class!

What's next for ConstructYourMind

Eventually will use AI/ML to be able to make pictures and memes to cater to how the construction worker is feeling to optimally relate and align with their feelings. This can be incredibly helpful for construction memes that will be really relatable and make them feel connected to friends. A lot of mental health problems come from loneliness and this may help ease that struggle if they feel that they have a friend that truly listens in the form of ConstructYourMind.
