Searchable Sound

It’s painful to find a certain spot in an audio only with a scrollbar and arrow keys, so we came up with the idea of text search feature in an audio. Basically, it’s just like using Control F in PDF.

We are Searchable Sound. We are inspired by recorded university lectures. When we try to listen a long audio file, it always bothers us to find a certain moment, as we don’t exactly know where that spot is.

Searchable Sound provides a text search function by extracting text from audio files. Users will be able to find when specific words are used and skip to exact moment where they want to be.

It also generates keywords by analyzing extracted text data. This will allow users to quickly understand the substance of audios files just by looking at keywords.
