A more streamlined marketing and search bar for Constellation Products to find the best fit for you
What it does
It utilizes a custom-built Constellation Brands API that allows for a search feature to search both Constellation products and cocktails that can use Constellation products. While also containing business endpoints for statistics on the products that are being viewed.
How we built it
It is a flask server accessing a mongo database that is loaded with scraped Constellation product information paired with CocktailDB information and Wegmans API SKU data to create a seamless search experience for the user.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges in pulling all the information we need and compiling into a cohesive network of information.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Being able to successfully handle all of this information and create our own custom API.
What we learned
We learned how to use MongoDB and smtplib which is a library to be used to send emails we integrated this in as an additional consumer endpoint to allow recipes to be sent to phone numbers.
What's next for ConstellationCocktails
Further integration and cleaning up of this database and API for better, faster, stronger consumer use cases.
