Inspiration

We wanted to do something that involves space and also engages the users and connects them with people around the world.

What it does

Our website generates a random pattern of stars and enables users to draw over them and come up with their constellations.

How we built it

Static and simple with the big three JS+HTML+CSS!

Challenges we ran into

Most of our group is not very good at javascript so we had to adapt and reference the docs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud we were able to create a functioning website that works and has the potential to grow in the future.

Last year we made a game that did not work out the way we had hoped and we did not have anything of significance to show the judges.

We are super excited to share what we have made today with you guys.

What we learned

Communication, Teamwork, and having a clear and achievable idea that is not too crazy.

What's next for Constellation Creator

We want users to compare their drawings on the same set of stars with others who have also visited the website so they can compare the differences in interpretations.
