Inspiration
I asked an old friend of mine, "what's something you'd ever want in one word?", and she said "Comfort". So, I created Secret Haven, a site to provide you with anything that deals with comfort.
What it does
The site allows you to book trips, find/get a cuddy buddy/emotional support person on demand, and find secret spots near you.
How we built it
I used HTML in Visual Studio Code. I honestly don't know how to answer this, sorry.
Challenges we ran into
Um, I haven't used HTML in like 5 years so I had to use tutorials to make it from scratch. Also, because I don't know CSS or Javascript I couldn't format the site so I had to find workarounds such as links in the HTML code
Accomplishments that we're proud of
-Coding -Figuring out how to save the files as .html -Finding programs that work for me: Visual Studio Code and LiveWeaver -making it a website -** OH MY GOD I MADE A NAVIGATION BAR AHHHHHHH**
What we learned
-How to code in HTML -The purpose of CSS and Java -Literally everything and that you can combine two (or more) coding languages in one project
What's next for Secret Haven
-Better Formatting with CSS as well as an actual business -Maybe sites for cheap weighted blankets, anxiety/mental health tips???
Built With
- html
- liveweaver
- photos
- stock
- visual-studio
