We are currently creating a copy of Conseil LGBTQ's website in order to work safely on a development environment. Our goal is to use what's already there (the non-profit website is Wordpress-based). Wordpress is highly modular and we are planning to add modules / pages that will be restricted to members.
The plan:
1 - Copy current environment to obtain a safe development website 2 - Document and validate which version of wordpress and what plug-ins are currently installed. 3 - Find plug-ins that would meet the non-profit requirements (calendar/document management/newsfeed/newsletter system). 4 - Make it fancy and user friendly 5 - Test. Present. Fix. Deliver
