Inspiration
The inspiration came from a simple but powerful question: What if I could visualize how individual microactions, done from anywhere in the world, add up and create real collective impact? In a world facing emotional, social, and ecological crises, I wanted to create a space that shows that every small action matters and contributes to planetary well-being.
What it does
The platform allows anyone to understand how human microactions are distributed across five key dimensions:
- Emotional Wellbeing
- Human Conflict
- Social Cohesion
- Basic Vital Wellbeing
- Ecological Harmony
I built it as a navigable demo, where anyone can fully explore all the flows, processes, and the future functionalities that the platform will have.
How we built it
I designed and developed the platform using Bolt, which allowed me to quickly create and visually demonstrate the entire user experience flow. With Bolt, I built:
- A clear and intuitive interface.
- Interactive maps with country-level data visualization.
- A structured system of indicators, subindicators, and microactions.
- Flows for sponsorship, donations, and language selection. Right now, it doesn’t connect to real databases or allow real microaction confirmation, but it demonstrates the full user experience and the vision of the final product.
Challenges we ran into
- Adapting the data architecture, maps, and flows within Bolt’s current capabilities.
- Explaining clearly the difference between internal indicators (microactions) and external ones (global data).
- Finding the balance between showing a realistic experience without backend functionalities or live data.
- Simplifying flows to make them intuitive and attractive despite technical limitations.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- I successfully designed and built a functional demo that clearly communicates the concept, the purpose, and the full user flow of the platform.
- I created a navigable experience that shows how anyone will be able to confirm microactions and see their impact on the global map.
- Even without live data, the platform effectively communicates its full potential and value.
What we learned
- That clarity in visualization and narrative is as important as the code itself.
- That Bolt is a powerful tool to prototype complete user experiences quickly.
- That showing visually how a project works can be as powerful as a functional MVP for early validation.
What's next for Conscious Planetary Vitality
- Move forward with backend development to connect to live databases and dynamic maps.
- Implement the real microaction confirmation system with live data updates.
- Integrate official external data sources to make the Pulse screen reflect accurate, real-time information.
- Develop a mobile app version.
- Scale partnerships with NGOs, educational institutions, and companies willing to become sponsors or allies for global change.
