Inspiration
As companies start to care more about the environment and being socially responsible we saw a problem. Most companies focus on metrics like sustainability. How well they operate, but they don't think about how happy their employees are or how their customers feel. This is important for long-term growth. InnerImpact was created to fix this problem. It combines data on how companiesre doing on environmental and social issues with data on how happy employees are and how customers feel. This way companies can focus on making sure their employees are happy and their customers are satisfied not on sustainability metrics. Employee happiness and customer satisfaction are key, to term sustainable growth. InnerImpact helps companies make decisions that're good for everyone not just the environment or their bottom line.
What it does
InnerImpact is a tool that uses intelligence to help companies understand how they are doing with the environment, their workers and their customers. It puts all this information in one place so companies can see everything at once. The tool gives companies things like:
- information about how they're doing with the environment
- how happy their workers are
- how happy their customers are
- ideas for the people in charge to think about
- reports about how the businesss doing By looking at how companies treat the environment and how happy their workers and customers are InnerImpact helps companies see if they are doing a good job of being sustainable. InnerImpact does this by looking at things like what's, in the companies sustainability reports what the workers are saying and what the customers think. This helps companies understand InnerImpact and how InnerImpact can help them with their performance.
How we built it
We created InnerImpact as a website that uses artificial intelligence. It was built using a different tools:
- Next.js
- TailwindCSS
- A lot of other open-source artificial intelligence and analytics tools. We also used MEDO to make our workflow and user interface design and to make our artificial intelligence work better during the development of InnerImpact.
Challenges and Accomplishments
Our initial idea was to build a software platform that could do many things. It would help with social and governance data, employee information, customer relationships and predicting business outcomes. We didn't have much time in the hackathon and our infrastructure had limits. So we scaled back our plan to create a focused and realistic version. This version prioritizes ease of use reports powered by intelligence and useful data analysis. Another challenge was making sure the AI outputs made sense and were practical. We didn't want them to be too speculative or hard to understand. We are proud of what we built. Our platform brings together:
- ESG data
- employee wellbeing insights
- customer sentiment analysis into one experience powered by AI. Most platforms treat these areas separately. We try to connect sustainability performance with business intelligence that focuses on organizations and people. We are also proud of creating a high-quality user experience in a time.
What we learned
Through this project we learned how important it is to balance tech innovation with thinking about people. Modern AI technologies can speed up analysis and decisions but for a company to last it also needs to focus on employee wellbeing doing business ethically and keeping customer trust. We also figured out that it's best to build systems that're focused and realistic. This is than making large-scale ideas that are too complicated, during fast development cycles.
What's next for Conscious ESG centric Business Intelligence Platform
In the future we plan to:
- Integrating a backend with cloudfare R2 and google API
- expand our ESG analytics capabilities
- add CRM and HR data sources
- make our AI-generated reports better
- create advanced dashboards to visualize data
- support workflows that can grow with the enterprise We also want to improve the platforms architecture so it can handle more data and complex business intelligence tasks. We will do this while keeping privacy and sustainability in mind.
