Inspiration
We have done this project as we wanted to offer users a way to be more informed about there electricity consumption as well as helping them to reduce it.
How we built it
We built it as a web application using the astrowind framework for frontend development and the Flask python framework for the backend development.
Challenges we ran into
We did not have much experience working with python frameworks or doing frontend so that was a very tricky part to get going.
Unfortunately we weren't able to implement the data analysis part with the app so this part is for the moment provided separetly in a Jupyter Notebook.
What we learned
We learned about how python frameworks for web app development work and also about how to develop the frontent using a framework as astrowind.
What's next for ConOp - Consumption Optimizer
Finishing the combination of the data processing with the rest of the web application.
