ConnectSphere

Inspiration

Our app is inspired by "Creator Clash", the overall winner of "ServiceNow" hackathon in 2024. ""CreatorClash" is a mobile application designed to enhance conference experiences by incorporating elements of popular games like "Pokemon Go" and "World of Warcraft." Attendees could scan QR codes, complete quests, and earn points for their teams, which could foster networking and friendly competition." Reference: Perplexity AI.

What it does

Our app is designed to onboard people for various kind of roles during event networking; event organizers, event sponsors and event attendees.

Types of events

Our app is designed for in-person events, virtual events and hybrid (virtual/in-person) events.

Event organizers could create events and onboard sponsors to their event pages on our ConnectSphere app.

Event organizers/sponsors could create quests/questions/polls and exchange business type of e-cards with event attendees.

Event attendees could join events, scan QR codes, answer questions, complete quests, and earn points for their teams, which could foster networking and friendly competition.

Our app features electronic business cards, live polls, question and answer session management etc.

How we built it

A0.dev was used to develop the very first version of our ConnectSphere app.

Windsurf AI was used for both front end and backend.

RevenueCat was integrated to ConnectSphere app to power up in-app purchases.

Our ConnectSphere Android app was deployed to Google Play Store, the secure channel of distribution through which people all over the world can access ConnecSphere Android app.

Challenges we ran into

Deployment to Google Play Store was quite challenging but we are privileged to get a corporate developer account for play store.

We hope our app goes lives on or before the hackathon deadline.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have built a revolutionary social app that several entities such as governments, companies, startups, religious institutions can use to make high-value connections and get valuable feedback from respective target audiences.

What we learned

We learnt some information about mobile app deployment terms and conditions.
