Difficulty to connect with other Singaporeans abroad

What it does

The Solution is a simple and hassle free app that would enable Singaporeans to connect with other Singaporeans that are in the same area as they are. The app utilizes the user’s location to recommend other users to chat with or group chats to join based on their proximity to the user. For this to be the case, group chats are tagged with a location so that they can only be joined if the user is close enough to the tagged location.

Once connected, the user will be able to chat and call with the connected Singaporean. However, this is only if the person at the other end accepts the connection request and wishes to continue chatting with the user.

By facilitating this connection with other Singaporeans, we are creating new avenues for Singaporeans who live abroad to connect and make new friends.

This app also doubles as a means of connecting Singaporeans living abroad with their local embassies. By placing this in an app, users will worry less when it comes to registering to their local embassies or using their services.
