Inspiration

One day, my mother got a call that a friend's child was in critical need of blood and they were searching for someone to donate.

Every 2 minutes, someone dies due to a shortage of blood. Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be that patient or the family watching helplessly as precious time slips away because you are not compatible or not fit enough to give blood? Lifeflow was inspired by the countless stories of patients who could have survived if only compatible blood were available faster.

What it does

LifeFlow is more than code; it’s a lifeline for postpartum mothers, sickle cell patients, accident victims, and anyone whose survival depends on timely blood donations. It connects compatible blood donors to patients in real time, using AI to instantly match needs with available donors and blockchain technology to ensure transparency and trust.

How we built it

Built with passion, integrated blockchain for security and transparency of blood records.
