Inspiration

We were inspired to build the app to help people connect and get back to basics of the human tendency to help. We felt the need as there are so many people at the moment that arent able to perform their basic needs. There are two kinds of users: Caregivers and Caretakers, you can be any of them! Are you getting your groceries? Put a post up in our app and get your neighbors' groceries. Be the good guy next door! Wanna rideshare? advertise it! Want to get a printout? Let your community know.

How I built it

We built the frontend using Angular and for the backend, we used Firebase.

Challenges I ran into

We felt that it was particularly hard to collaborate during our hackathon this time as we were all in different places. We felt that we couldn't stay up and keep each other motivated like our previous times. This significantly reduced productivity.
We used Sketch to design initially and the conversion wasn't successful when we tried to tweak it to our CSS.
One of our teammate's Laptop gave up, hence we weren't able to complete the front end.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We were happy that we built meaningful connections and had some time to get our creative juices flowing before the school year gets hectic!
As for the app, we are glad that we finally used CSS and made a few cool designs!
