We were inspired by various apps which can provide education but only at a sub-par level given that certain apps specialize only in one practice. So we figured, why does an app which checks all these boxes exist?
Communications is an app which allows students to reach out to upper class students and receive educational videos and lectures. There will be AI chat monitoring to filter inappropriate content and keep the space safe. There will be virtual currency incentives given out per school, which can be exchanged for scholarly prizes and recognition. A search feature similar in functionality to Instagram will be employed, as it is difficult for students to find one another in other educational platforms. This app essentially aims to combine the best elements of top apps such as Reddit, Discord, and Teams into a simple and beginner-friendly powerhouse.
Given that this is a prototype and a work in progress, all work done thus far was done with PowerPoint and Photoshop.
