Inspiration

There are several factors that made us inspired. Safety: People want to feel safe and secure, and an emergency report app provides them with a quick and easy way to call for help in case of an emergency.

Convenience: Emergency report apps allow people to report emergencies from their mobile phones, making it convenient for them to get help in an emergency situation, no matter where they are

Better Emergency Management: Emergency report apps can also help emergency services respond more effectively and efficiently, by providing them with real-time information about emergencies and the location of those in need of help.

What it does

An emergency report app is a tool designed to provide people with a quick and easy way to report emergencies and seek help in case of a crisis. The app typically allows users to:

Report emergencies: Users can report emergencies such as fires, medical emergencies, car accidents, or any other type of emergency situation.

Send Location: The app can use the user's GPS to send their location to emergency services, allowing them to respond quickly and efficiently.

How we built it

We used ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript, API.

Challenges we ran into

We had difficulties working with API to get the current location of the user and report it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to complete the client side of the application.

What we learned

We learned asp.net web api, Geolocation. And we also learned how we can work in teams with short deadline.

What's next for Connect

Server side, Admin Side, which will help contacts and police to check the report. And admin side can use it to analyze the data where the crime reports has been made the most based on the state of emergency.
