Connect Fast is trying to solve data privacy issues by giving back the control of personal data to users and granted access to external parties.

Inspiration

Data Privacy Policies and Issues. Since the introduction of the blockchain, there is a swift of gaining back control to communities without having to relay on third parties. With the growing trend of digitalizing most aspects of our daily life. There is an involving risk of the collection of data. According to the survey of KPMG, a majority of the users have an issue with the collection of personal data.

What it does

Connect Fast provide the opportunity for both companies as individuals to distribute their data safely to third parties. Companies, users or questionaires are able to create a form for data collection like it is done at devpost. This is stored in the a contract factory containing all different contracts. link Here we holding a share contract, where users are able to fill in the results of the created form. All these forms can be read by the owner of the contract. Once done, it will distribute automatically the fee that is available to all users that filled in the form. This can be done for every different format of code.

How we built it

It is built on top of IPFS and Go Ethereum en Polygon Mumbai network.

IPFS usage:

  • uploading files
  • downloading files.
  • sharing files.

Go Ethereum

  • User creation.
  • Encryption Polygon Mumbai network for interacting with the smart contracts, paying fees and distribution of rewards.

Challenges we ran into

Management of the application in combination with creating the ideas and coding it on the way, in such a short period. Left me with in end result that is currently incomplete. Though it is incompleted, I still would like to submit. to show what i currently have built.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

First creation of the application, running both the IPFS and Ethereum on the platform.

What we learned

Building the application created a lot of issues on the way. Hoped to find someone that was able to work together with me in building this project. Building testing is important to have the first version running, since most of the time i lost was due to testing and failure of implementing the right functions.

What's next for Connect Fast

  • Displaying all the bugs and issues currently available in the application.
  • Searching for partners that are willing to help me evolve the application in something that can be generic ally used by everyone on the web.
  • Make sure that we slowly improve over time, so that we can truly compete in the next hackathon.
