Inspiration
One large aspect of a hackathon is collaboration. During this event, our group not only shared our existing CS skills but we also shared our experiences. We all came from different places, but we had two things in common. All of us are in our junior year of high school and all of us are passionate about Computer Science. One thing we bonded over was an uncertainty for what major and/or career we want to pursue in college and life. With this website, we wanted to help fellow students like us find their passion.
What it does
This website includes many interactive elements to help you find which CS related topic aligns best with your personality and interests-- after all, you know yourself best. Use the navigation bar at the top to go to the different sections of the website.
How we built it
We used HTML, javascript, and CSS to program this website and all of its features.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges with building the personality test and random fact generator because they were new things we had never done before

What's next for CONNECT
Connect may improve by expanding its personality test and scholarship/internship opportunities to include more majors and career paths.
