Confucius Calendar

Inspiration

We wanted to start with something simple, the to do list, and then build up on it.

What it does

The user can add tasks to a task list and generate a schedule based on it. Confucius will pop up at the start of a day to give wisdom.

How we built it

We made the backend functionality, and as we didn't have much experience in frontend, we used gemini to help us generate a UI for it.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into some challenges with storing the tasks on a local file as our base project didn't take that into account. We also couldn't figure out how to let users use the functions that utilise the Gemini API without an API key.

That it works.

What we learned

We learned about how to work together on a project without causing a bunch of conflicts.

What's next for Confucius Calendar

We may continue working on it to improve some of the features such as task scheduling, as well as adding some quality of life updates to improve the user experience.
