Inspiration
I created CONECTFY because I wanted to connect people through technology, making networking easier and more efficient, especially for students and developers.
What it does
I created a platform that allows users to create connections, share projects, and discover opportunities within a community. It focuses on providing a clean interface and easy navigation for networking.
How I built it
I built CONECTFY using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The app uses dynamic DOM manipulation to render user connections and projects in real time.
Challenges I ran into
One of the main challenges I faced was filtering and displaying connections dynamically based on user preferences. I also had to ensure the app handles empty inputs and invalid data gracefully.
Accomplishments I'm proud of
I successfully created a responsive and interactive platform where users can manage their connections. I also implemented real-time filtering and user-friendly alerts for better UX.
What I learned
I learned how to structure a web project, manipulate the DOM efficiently, and handle user input validation. I also gained experience in designing a platform focused on user experience.
What's next for CONECTFY
Next, I plan to rebuild the platform using React and Next.js for a more dynamic frontend. On the backend, I will integrate Node.js to handle APIs, database interactions, and user authentication. These improvements will make CONECTFY faster, more interactive, and ready for real-world usage.
