Inspiration

As large language models like Gemini 3 become more capable, the challenge shifts from model power to how that power is structured and delivered to users. ConclaveGPT was inspired by the need for an AI assistant that is not just intelligent, but also well-engineered, scalable, and production-ready. The goal was to build a system that combines strong AI reasoning with a clean, modern application stack.

What it does

ConclaveGPT is a cross-platform AI assistant application powered by Gemini 3 that enables structured, real-time interaction with a large language model. It provides users with a responsive conversational interface while maintaining a clear separation between UI, backend logic, and AI reasoning. The system is designed to be extensible, allowing future enhancements in context management, reasoning control, and user-specific interactions.

How we built it

ConclaveGPT is built using Flutter for the frontend, ensuring a smooth and consistent cross-platform experience. Firebase is used as the backend for authentication, data storage, and real-time communication. The AI layer integrates Gemini 3 as the core language model, handling natural language understanding and response generation. This architecture allows for scalability, maintainability, and seamless integration between the client, backend, and AI services.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was integrating a powerful LLM like Gemini 3 while keeping response latency low in a real-time application. Another challenge was designing a backend architecture that could handle user interactions efficiently without tightly coupling the UI with AI logic. Ensuring smooth communication between Flutter, Firebase, and the Gemini API required careful coordination and testing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Successfully integrated Gemini 3 into a production-style application
  • Built a scalable backend using Firebase
  • Delivered a responsive cross-platform UI using Flutter
  • Maintained a clean separation of concerns across the entire stack

What we learned

We learned that combining a powerful LLM with a modern app stack requires careful system design. Performance, scalability, and maintainability depend heavily on how responsibilities are divided between frontend, backend, and AI services. A well-structured architecture makes it easier to iterate, debug, and extend AI-driven applications.

What's next for ConclaveGPT

Future work includes improving long-term context handling, adding personalization features, and deeper utilization of Gemini 3’s advanced capabilities. We also plan to expand the application with additional tools and workflows, making ConclaveGPT a more versatile AI assistant for real-world use cases.
