Inspiration- My over 20-year career of traveling and working all over the work as a health educator and nurse practitioner, listening to the stories of thousands of women over my 20+ career about their lives and their struggles and barriers to accessing women's health care. Alas, this is EVERYONES struggle at times and degrees. I see a gender-neutral solution to accessing low-cost quality care.

What it does I see MyChoceNow.org as a platform/service/ that is AirBNB meets Expedia or everytravelsite.com to connect people in the United States seeking low-cost quality healthcare to sources outside the US. Depending on the medical need, a state where the person lives, and the choice of where they want to travel; clients can save a huge percentage of the cost of medical care. The bonus is getting to travel and stay in beautiful locations and get better care than you may in the US.

How I built it. Thus far I have licensed and obtained a domain name MyChoiceNow.org with an email address. I have the beginnings of a web site I built using WIX web editor and seeking input from a UX/UI designer on how to create a gender-neutral web site. I am in the research and discovery phase of this project where I am talking with other Product Developers and Engineers about the viability of this product.

Challenges I ran into include figuring out how to monetize and generate revenue fro a medical tourism business that is mostly based in a telemedicine space. There are significant legal issues that need to be researched regarding where travel services end and where medical care and advice begin that would affect business model with regards to safe medical care and cate handoff. How to keep information HIPPA compliant and complaint in the country to which person is traveling, etc.

What's next for Concierge Travel Medicine. Seeking Engineers- what language/tools do you see work well for travel service sites? Can you make them also be secure for medical information? Business development input to brainstorm best models to gain revenue in the short term and long term.
