Concerto

Inspiration

I got the inspiration by seeing how I usually got calmed after listening to music, and how music therapy helped many depression patients.

What it does

Concerto works by having live “Concerts” in which various songs are played live. Any user can join these concerts at any given time. Concerts can also be hosted by the users themselves, by selecting a playlist. The music genre can vary, but it will mostly contain very soothing songs, that will help any one calm down.

How we built it

I built it using React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and a hefty load of Boostrap

What's next for Concerto

There are a ton of features left for Concerto, such as: Have AI suggest you various songs that may be helpful for you. Have some soothing visuals for any song, that helps against stress Adding a “Stressed” feature to each profile, so that the app may personalize to your stress levels.
