Inspiration
We gone through different initiates took by multiple organizations/people on Breast cancer awareness and support. Also read/seen multiple inspirational quotes/messages shared by celebrities who suffered with Breast cancer. It's a great opportunity for us to develop/contribute something to the people who suffering with breast cancer. Through this event we understood what is Breast cancer and realized that, our initiate should reach to everyone not only for just awareness, but also for support/contribute to the people who suffering with it. Also we are trying to share few knowledge on rare cancer that forms in the breast tissue of men, which only few aware of now. We like to dedicate our initiate towards all breast cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers who stand against the ugly breast cancer disease.
What it does
We come up with website and an android app which contains below details as of now :
=> What is breast cancer and types/stages of it
=> How to diagnosis it
=> How to prevent it
=> Predict whether Malignant or Benign based on input data
=> Few facts/numbers on Breast cancer
=> FAQ's
How I built it
Concept Squad is a team with 3 members, who always looks for unique ideas and built it with an interactive UI, which attracts all kind of users. With our knowledge in different technologies and the ideas which we collected on Breast cancer awareness/support helped us to come up with an design. We built an website initially as it will help to adapt to different forms of applications in future. Collected data on Breast cancer from different sources, the people know about it and few our thoughts/ideas also added to it. All together we consolidated and integrated to the design we come up with.
Challenges I ran into
Collecting details on Breast cancer is not a big deal as we have finite number of data spread across the internet. Development and integration of Breast cancer prediction with our app was a challenging task and we made it by spending it on for a whole day.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We are proud to launch the website and android app with couple of features that helps everyone who were looking to know about Breast cancer. We developed this basically to participate in this event, but we will not leave our initiate once after submitting it. Due to time limitations, few of our ideas not even included in this initiate. We will add those and will publish it to the entire world as our small contribution on this Breast cancer awareness month to the society who fighting against breast cancer.
What I learned
We gained more knowledge on Breast cancer and we are still exploring to get added to our initiative. This event helped us to improve our little knowledge on Breast cancer to some extend and now we are able to share it with people surrounded with us.
What's next for ConceptSquad
Due to time limitations, few of our ideas not even included in this initiate. We will add those and will publish it to the world as our contribution on this Breast cancer awareness month. Few of them are :
=> A forum for everyone who can share their experience with the world. => Integrate with Google Maps and share the nearby hospital they can do checkup of Breast cancer => Testimonials from celebrities' who suffered with Breast cancer. => Personal space to notify the registered users to follow different steps to overcome from Breast cancer
