So many Items are thrown in the landfills filling them up, items that could easily be added to compost piles and be producing soil instead. Often folks are unsure what they can put in the compost. That is where "Composting It" comes in.

What it does

"Composting It" is a skill to help you decide if you can compost something or not. Quickly and easily get your answer to "Can I compost it?”. “Composting It” has over 100 items it can help you with. It also gives some composting tips. Just think, by composting, how many things you can keep out of the landfills and return to the earth, making wonderful soil for your gardens, houseplants and yards.

How I built it

Built on Storyline and put in all eligible English speaking countries via the Alexa Skills kit

Challenges I ran into

I had over 100 different items that I wanted Alexa to respond to. It was difficult to find a way to be able to have folks using it be able to just ask about what ever item it was they wanted to compost. Also linking to so many items made it to large at first so I had to modify a few things.
