What it does

This application sends a compliment to a phone with Twilio.

How we built it

This application was built with Twillio and Java.

Challenges we ran into

There was a challenge I wasn't able to solve but am planning to soon, I wasn't able to parse the JSON from the API I got the compliments from so the text message sent looks messy.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It was the first time I've done a GET API and it turned out successful.

What we learned

In this project, I have learned how to do a GET request from an API and how to use the Twilio API.

What's next for Compliment Sender

For Compliment Sender, I would like to remove the messy JSON, maybe add a UI and add a feature to allow the app to send a text at specific times of the day.
