Compass: Your Love Language Translator

Inspiration

Miscommunication is the #1 cited relationship problem. Couples often feel misunderstood not because they don't care, but because they speak different emotional languages.

What it does

Compass is an AI that translates your partner's messages into your love language and shows you how to respond in theirs. You paste a message you received. Our AI detects the sender's love language, translates the emotional intent into your preferred style, and suggests 2-3 responses crafted in a way they'll actually feel.

How we built it

Next.js 14 + React 19, Tailwind CSS, Claude API (claude-3-5-haiku), Vercel deployment
